anonymity, but how far?

In general, the newcomer wanted his family to know immediately what he was trying to do. He also wanted to tell other people who tried to help: doctors, religious and close friends. As he resumed confidence, he just seemed to explain his new lifestyle to his employer and colleagues. When the opportunity arose to make himself useful, he realized he could talk easily of AA to almost anyone.
These revelations, calmly expressed, helped him to escape the fear of the stigma of alcoholism and spread the news of the existence of the AA in his entourage. Several members, men and women have joined the AA as a result of such conversations.
