School AMPERE Marianne Chanourdie us of the good works of the 2 lines Pédibus school. A collective journey is also in place for students in CM2. Mr Didier noted areas for improvement. The intersection before the school is borrowed and although secured by traffic lights, it is dangerous for pedestrians. Ms. Chanourdie suggests moving a security guard at this intersection. Difficulties were encountered in the small parking: cars are parked on the sidewalk regularly, forcing children to walk on the road. Installation of studs?
SCHOOL STONE AND MARIE CURIE Daniela Kostova tells us that the 2 lines Pédibus work very well. Launched in May 2010, these two lines do not all road improvements expected: rue Capitaine Ferber and between 10-12 of the Bois de la Caille. Mr Didier, Ms. Amiot Drykoningen and should insist with the Greater Lyon. Ms. Kostova notes tensions with parents of kindergarten. They are parked on the sidewalk of the school (fire access). ALBRECHT BERTIE SCHOOL: A collective journey is established.
SECURITY: Mr Marquerol involves municipal police near schools when necessary. Nathalie Mérand asked in the beginning of the school year because of uncontrolled parking on pedestrian crossings. Regarding security auxiliaries, they are 15 in number and are the responsibility municipal police. They are equipped with a STOP light and a cell phone (to notify in case of necessity).
PANELS PEDIBUS : Mr. and Mrs. Didier Drykonningen identified Pédibus panels. A small box will be added to indicate the name of the school.
COMMUNICATION: Ms. Mérand stresses the importance of communication parents + hall + school + Grand Lyon (storefront) to sustain and develop the Walking School Bus lines Caluire. It is thanks to information in rhythms that Ms. Kostova (Peter and school Marie Curie) committed in the Walking School Bus initiative.
INTER-SCHOOLS PROJECT: Ms.
Mérand recalls the success of car-free day of May 12, 2010. Children of the City Council of Child Health and Environment Committee wish to extend this day in 2011. Photos of Ms.
