Facing criticism
Sometimes we are surprised, shocked and angry when people find something to say about the AA We can be disturbed to the point of not being able to take advantage criticism, even constructive. For this kind of resentment, we are under no friends, and we attain any worthwhile purpose. This is certainly an area where we can improve. ***
Obviously harmony, security and future effectiveness of AA will depend, to a largely maintaining our non-aggressive attitude and even in our peaceful relations with the public. It is a demanding task, because when we drank, we were inclined to be angry, hostile, disobedient, and aggressive. And even if we are sober today, those old patterns of our behavior are always present to some extent, threatening to explode under any pretext.
But we are now aware. Therefore I trust that in the conduct of our foreign relations, we will always find the grace to hold us.
