(I'm writing a chapter on this topic ... here are some considerations that may interest you loose.) Even if you do not know the word (homosexual OCD), you probably know thing, because everyone has been touched by its membranous wing at one time or another ...
Everybody or almost everybody, was a day touched by the unpleasant idea that he might have repressed homosexual tendencies.
OCD homosexuality is no more doubt that this multiplied by 100 000.
The relationship with Freud is both obvious and subtle. I do not know if I'll be able to properly explain it to you but I'll try ...
To begin, we must know that OCD of homosexuality did not exist a century ago. Or if it existed, it was rare. In the same way that diabetes appeared with the massive consumption of sugar, OCD of homosexuality has spread along the ideas of Freud. There is a strong link - an unbreakable bond - between the two.
What does Freud? What do we believe all our days, because Freud said so?
1 / That we are all born bisexual. We all have latent homosexual tendencies and / or returned more or less pronounced. In short, our identity as a man or woman, and heterosexual, is something fragile and artificial construct. Freud asserts that every human being is bisexual at the base.
Indeed, Freud goes even further than that because for him we would all be naturally more or less androgynous
(such as snails).
2 / Freud also claims - an idea closely linked to the previous one - that many psychological problems are caused by repressed homosexuality. It is important to note that according to Freud, which is causing psychological problems, it is not homosexuality in itself, but the fact that it is repressed
. The logical solution would be to live
this homosexuality.
3 / Freud also argues that our "unconscious" contains "unconscious desires", which we do not realize because they are contrary to our values, and that every dream expresses a repressed desire ... even if the dream in question is a nightmare
We have all the ingredients necessary to make a TOC with homosexuality:
1 / The idea that our sexual identity to heterosexual man or woman is superficial, fragile, artificial and constructed;

3 / The idea that our problems are due to repressed homosexuality;
4 / The idea that our dreams are actually the representation of desires.

What used to think (and even to be sure) that Freudian theories, which we take as fact, are really delusional big fibs ?
A number of facts.
1 / Determining the sex of the embryo occurs at fertilization when the sperm enters the egg. So there is no original androgyny. From the beginning, the embryo is either female or male. And at birth, female babies have different sensitivities and behaviors of baby boys (babies boys watch with interest the objects, while baby girls are more connected relationships, and this, from birth.) Science of proved, and although feminists disagree with these reasons for discovery policies, studies exist and are very conclusive. There are many books on the subject.
2 / If, as claimed by Freud, both psychological problems were caused by repressed homosexuality, unconscious, homosexuals who live their homosexuality should logically have less psychological problems than the rest of the population, yet it is the reverse is true. There is a disproportionately high incidence of depression and suicide among people who adopt the homosexual lifestyle.
3 / If, as claimed by Freud, the dream was an expression of desire, we should be delighted when our nightmares come true. At last, this is not the case.
4 / Any desire is or becomes aware very quickly, because by definition we know what we like and what we dislike. There are only zombies who handled completely do not know what they like and what they hate.
The existence of a repressed desire for something or someone is an a priori free - there should be evidence. Freud assumed the existence of unconscious wishes, but never proves it.
Besides assuming latent homosexual tendencies among all heterosexuals, why do we not also imply the latent heterosexual tendencies in all gay? And could we not argue that it is this repressed heterosexuality is the source of their psychological problems? Perhaps they would better about themselves if they lived their heterosexuality in broad daylight ...
There would be many other arguments but this would take too long ...
Now to the third step. Why Freud
he invented a theory that leads people to believe bisexual even when they do not?
Answer: because
Freud himself was bisexual ... This was proved by a specialist in Freud's book "Passion for murder. "Freud had a passion for his homosexual NOT platonic great friend Fliess. Some passages in these letters are more than suggestive. This does not prevent him from being married and cheat on his wife's sister it , and do many other things, some of which are frankly disgusting. (imagine the worst and you're there.)
According to a proverb, "the fox wants everybody eats chicken.
Freud, Bisexual, wanted to convince the world that bisexuality was the norm.
Note that Dr. Kinsey is a somewhat similar case that Freud: bisexual, he wanted to convince all of America that bisexuality was more natural as heterosexuality.
