The only intellectual force?
A man or woman who, intellectually, are sufficient unto themselves, many AA members may say, "Yes, we were like you, too smart for our own good. We love that people take us for small miracles. We used our instruction we proudly swell like balloons, while taking care of us hide. Secretly, we felt can glide over one another by our intellectual strength.
Scientific progress teaches us that nothing is impossible for man. Knowledge is all powerful. Intelligence can conquer nature. As we believe we were smarter than most people, the spoils of victory we returned with our reason. The god of intelligence replaced the God of our fathers.
But again, Bacchus had something else in mind. We who had won so easily, we came to lose every time. We found that we had to change our views or perish.
