Absent: Schools Ampere and Bertie Albrecht.
After a brief reminder of the purpose of inter-school group for sharing documents, experiments and projects, we do a quick round. Mr. Gasket
thank parents moved, despite the rain and a football match on television.
We welcome the presence of Mr. Latour, a young retiree who participates in the Walking School Bus school Paul Bert. The friendliness of the Walking School Bus routes, with the participation of retirees, could be enhanced by an article in Rhythm: a lady accompanies a retired School Bus Line School Edouard Herriot.
Mr. Prigent, representative of the association storefront (Lyon Grand partner to help develop guidelines and Pédibus Vélobus) gives us an overview of the Walking School Bus on Grand Lyon.
Launched in 2001, the School Bus has 78 schools, 156 lines and about 3000 children.
Caluire remains the champion in lines Pédibus.
By cons, it has been overtaken by Montanay for the largest online Pédibus: 80 kids!
Mr. Prigent said that he is available to each school to make safety training and launch Pédibus and Vélobus. Victor Basch said Vélobus interested in and ask Mr Didier bike shelter. Exposure
Pédibus is being recast (as performed in 2002) will soon be available, including year-end festivities schools.
The school asks Paul Bert on the integration of kindergarten children in the Walking School Bus. The school emphasizes the importance Victor Basch there is a sufficient number of accompanying parents to get kids in kindergarten within the school. The school organizes Jean Moulin twice in the year of mornings "Coffee School Bus' to include kindergarten.
A point is established with Mr Didier on the road improvements:
- major works were carried out near the school Ampere.
Difficulties have been encountered in the establishment of pedestrian crossings because of visibility problems for pedestrians.
- The extension of 50 m from the pavement of Rue de Margnolles ensures the continuity of the path of the school's Walking School Bus Little Versailles. It is unfortunate that this path is obstructed by cars parked on the trotttoir.
Unfortunately, other schools are seeing the same parking problems, bad hedges trimmed, trash cans or boxes of salt annoying.
Against these incivilities, school Edouard Herriot has made small documents. Claire Rosset we will forward them.
Didier recalls that mail can be established by the City Council to address these genes and ensure their successful implementation.
- The problem speed and crossing the road Crépieux is evoked. Mr. Didier said that a study is underway, the addition and / or modification of a pedestrian crossing is not necessarily the right solution.
- For Online Bois Joli, Claire Rosset deliver the items to Mr Didier (crossing Combe Martin).
- School Victor Basch reported missing a gate on the culvert below the bridge ==> dangerous.
She asked the results of the analysis by the Greater Lyon following the speedometers installed. These should be delivered mid-November.
The problematic area 30 is explained in other schools. Fire suppression, more fires in the bottom of the Petit Versailles, no signs, no markings. Even if the pedestrian is king in zone 30, yet would it need to know and drivers also! Many parents ask that information be made in Rhythms on that because we ignore completely the difference between an area 30 and a limit of 30.
Ponchos:
Grand Lyon abandons the feasibility study.
We have a security problem with the ponchos available commercially.
We continue our research while remaining within a reasonable budget.
panels:
Orders were taken for 2 lines of Victor Basch and school line Bertie Albrecht. Mr Didier
requests to interview Mr. Prigent Greater Lyon on school identification on the panel: addition of a sign?
Joint Inter-School:
WEC (council of children) is very aware of any environmental initiative.
Ideas fluorescent strips on school bags, bicycle lanes, were mentioned by the children.
Car Free Day organized by the Ecole Paul Bert for 2 years could be extended to other schools. A pedestrian path
school-hall could be done by year-end and end up on a picnic inter-school on the esplanade.
On these good ideas, the meeting ends around the cup of friendship.
End of meeting: 21:30.
